Every day about 15-30 children visit the Drop-In Centre in Arusha, and about 25-40 children and youths attend the weekly group sessions. Amani decides to build a permanent Drop-In Centre and, in March 2013, a plot close to Arusha city center is purchased.

Amani starts planning the construction of the Youth Transition Houses (on a small plot close to Amani) so the youth who have no family can start to live semi-independently.Amani improves its reunification program with initiatives like house reconstruction, micro-loans and entrepreneur training.

6 Amani youths traveled to Nairobi for the 2013 East Africa Jump-Rope competitions and 25 Amani children participated in the Kilimanjaro Marathon 5K Fun Run.
