Give homeless children a bright future

The crisis of street children in Tanzania is massive. But together, we can solve it. Amani rescues homeless children and gives them loving care, the chance to go to school, and a hopeful future. Join our journey by giving once or by being part of our global community of monthly givers.

  • Street Kids

A combination of factors drive children to a street life, including poverty, neglect, family breakdown, losing one or both parents to HIV/AIDS and verbal, physical, and sexual abuse.

  • Care & Education

Amani is committed to providing an education for each child we rescue, enabling them to access a local school. Our goal is to develop responsible and self-reliant young adults.

  • Reunification

Wherever possible we aim to reunify children into the homes of extended family members, giving kids the chance to spend the rest of their childhood with a close relative.

“Truly inspiring staff whose dedication to these children is incredible. I have visited 3 times and seen for myself the wonderful work that goes on at Amani… and also what a happy place it is. I have been a sponsor for over 13 years now and it is money well spent.”
